Full of the Joys of Spring

I have to say the early mornings suit me. I have been in the studio since 5.30 am listening to the birds & working on new pieces in the early quiet of the day. As the sun comes up and the Earth begins to warm, the big queen bumble bees (and honey bees too) are making their first appearances of the year. I love the sensation of being buzzed by a bumbling bee as I move through the garden.

They are flying treasures, and the inspiration for the earrings.
