Our Covid 19 information

Thank you to everyone who came to the studio, you made it the wonderful place it is .

On arrival.

You will be greeted warmly, but without a handshake or personal contact.

Please use the automatic hand gel dispenser (located in the kitchen area) to sanitise your hands.

Hand gel must be used before entering the studio and leaving.

Before entering the studio, please complete the Covid Health questionnaire using a ‘clean’ pen, then place the pen in the ‘used clean pen’ box On your first visit you will be required to read sign a disclaimer*

You will also have your temperature taken using a non contact digital thermometer before being allowed into the studio.

You must wear a mask in the studio, we will happily issue one on your first visit for free but after that a charge will be made. You will also be given a personal visor, again free on your first visit. Once behind your screen you may remove your visor but following current government advice you will be required to wear a mask.

Our Students.

For students please bring your own drinks with a closed Top such as a sports bottle, clearly labelled. You may make your own drink here but there is a policy of clean it use it clean it.

If you have travelled to a restricted country, you must not attend the studio until after the government advised quarantine period has passed .

Do not come to the studio if you or anyone you live with is self-isolating or is displaying symptoms known to be consistent with Covid-19

Please do not bring coats or large bags into the studio these must be left outside.

Our Studio

Each workstation will have a set of tools allocated to it these will be colour-coordinated. Any tools used will be placed in the quarantine box for 72 hours before being replaced on the station or and or cleaned before being placed back on the workstation. For shared tools, these will be cleaned / quarantined after each student has finished using them.

15 minutes before the end of each session, each student will be required to clean / quarantine any tools used and their desk space.

Each workstation will have a set of colour-coordinated tools associated with it.

Each soldering station station will have a set of tools associated with it e.g. torch probes tweezers, again these will be colour-coordinated and associated with the workstation. These will be quarantined and all cleaned between sessions.

Spaces in the studio will be reduced from eight before Covid to 4 plus the tutor to enable social distancing, sneeze screens have been installed.

Aprons will be provided after use these will be placed in the quarantine box and cleaned/laundered/quarantine for 72 hours.

If you have travelled to a restricted country, you must not attend the studio until after the government advised quarantine period has passed .

All other Current Gov Covid advice must be followed e.g. do not touch face.

*I have made the studio as safe as I am able, and still able to remain a viable business. However with an unlimited budget there would have been additional things I would have done. I cannot realistically guarantee you will not catch covid, and bearing in mind everything I have put in place, I must ask anyone returning to the studio to read and sign the following disclaimer.

I acknowledge the contagious nature of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and that the CDC and many other public health authorities still recommend practicing social distancing.
I further acknowledge that DH Designs, Diane Lee Jewellery has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
I further acknowledge that DH Designs, Diane Lee Jewellery can not guarantee that I will not become infected with the Coronavirus/Covid-19. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the Coronavirus/COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, Studio staff, and other Studio clients and their families.
I voluntarily seek services provided by DH Designs, Diane Lee Jewellery and acknowledge that I am increasing my risk to exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19. I acknowledge that I must comply with all set procedures to reduce the spread while attending my session.
I attest that:
* I am not experiencing any symptom of illness such as cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.
* I have not traveled internationally to a restricted country within the last 14 days.
* I have not traveled to a highly impacted area within The United Kingdom n the last 14 days.
* I do not believe I have been exposed to someone with a suspected and/or confirmed case of the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
* I have not been diagnosed with Coronavirus/Covid-19 and not yet cleared as non contagious by UK public health authorities.
* I am following all NHS recommended guidelines as much as possible and limiting my exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
I hereby release and agree to hold DH Designs, Diane Lee Jewellery harmless from, and waive on behalf of myself, my heirs, and any personal representatives any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses and compensation for damage or loss to myself and/or property that may be caused by any act, or failure to act of the Studio, or that may otherwise arise in any way in connection with any services received from DH Designs, Diane Lee Jewellery. I understand that this release discharges DH Designs, Diane Lee Jewellery from any liability or claim that I, my heirs, or any personal representatives may have against the Studio with respect to any bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment, or property damage that may arise from, or in connection to, any services received from DH Designs, Diane Lee Jewellery. This liability waiver and release extends to the Studio together with all owners, partners, and employees.
